Iconic vaulted and painted ceilings, hammered silver bar top, flagstone floor and intimate wooden tables and booths have set the scene for over two decades in this special place. To compliment our well stocked bar, we serve food throughout the day including breakfast from 7am in our sun-trap coffee shop followed closely by traditional Scottish gastro pub lunch, tea and supper offerings that have been pleasing the public palette for generations. As well as a variety of cask ales, draft beers and specially selected wines, we have a range of premium spirits and soft offerings to meet all drinker-diner preferences.

Robbie’s is a welcoming, traditional local bar, offering a wide selection of malt whiskies, premium spirits, a variety of UK and continental lagers & beers (bottled and on tap), and an ever-changing choice of Guest Ales for you to try.

Live sport is always available on our four TVs (now with added Big Screen!), whether rugby, golf, racing or darts is your thing….although of course the emphasis here is on football!

We have regular weekly events, Quiz Night is held every Tuesday, and the Nuts Poker League every Thursday. We also host live music a couple of times a month, please do check our Facebook page for details of upcoming entertainment.

Raj has long been a thriving, cosmopolitan and multicultural city with its cuisine bringing together many different culinary influences in exotic harmony. Regional recipes were shared; new dishes were created; and gradually a unique cuisine emerged— which is now synonymous with India’s financial, entertainment and culinary capital.

Back in 1986, the Raj restaurant was created around the idea of bringing the cuisine of this great city to Edinburgh. Today, The Raj’s menus reflect this ongoing exploration featuring the freshest seafood, chicken, and lamb, as well as plenty to please vegetarian palates.
